Rates are quoted in USD and are per person per night.
No Single Supplement applies.
Children aged 4-12 sharing with two adults will be at 50% of the sharing rate.
Third person sharing will be at 50% of adult rate. (Use of superior luxury tent recommended)
Children of any age utilising their own tent will be charged full rate.

The above rates include (unless otherwise stated):
All meals, Teas, coffees and snacks, local alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages, Game drives and guided walks, bushman activities, Laundry, Government taxes and levies, road transfer from the Haina airstrip to the Lodge.

The above rates exclude:
Imported alcohol, Visa costs, and transfer costs to and from Haina, Travel insurance, items of personal nature.

Pilots / Guides accompanying guests and accommodated in Pilots/Guides accommodation USD 60 = sharing, during any season – accommodation and meals only (Valid until 31/10/10)

INFORMATION ON THE ACTIVITIES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE RATES

Guided Walks:
Bush Trail - Join the resident guide and Bushmen tracker on a bush trail. Learn more about animal spoor, the vegetation of the Kalahari. Duration & Distance of walk is dependent on clients’ physical fitness – approx. 3-5 kilometres.

Game Drives:
Game Drives, in open vehicles, are led by an experienced guide and are offered at sunrise and sunset. Evening sundowners are served with the sun setting over the Kalahari .

Duration and Departure times: The guest’s preferences are taken into consideration with normal duration of 2 hours. Departure times normally 06h30 and 16h00

Night Game Drives:
Departure times are at either 9pm (after dinner-depending on conditions) or before dinner incorporating sundowners.

Bushmen Interaction:
Haina Kalahari Lodge is located in close proximity to the ancient Mecca of the Bushmen that inhabited the area about 6 000 years ago. Haina is home to a group of Bushmen, who will share with you how they go about their daily lives, how they search for roots and plants to live on, how to make a fire and do a rain dance.

Quad Bike Safaris:

The Quad bike safari is a novel way to explore the captivating Kalahari land around Haina Kalahari Lodge and to experience the fresh air that nature offers.

This trip cannot be pre-booked as it is totally dependent on the weather and cannot take place during rains

OVERNIGHT EXCURSIONS – MOBILE SAFARIS (Valid until 31/12/10)

Overnight Mobile Safari into Central Kalahari .
NB : Excursions are minimum 4 pax & minimum 2 nights

Combine a stay at Haina Kalahari Lodge with a 2 night mobile safari into the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

Night 2 & 3: Mobile Safari – normal rate applies
Night 4: Haina – normal rate applies

TRANSFER COSTS
All rates are Nett & Non Commissionable (Dependant on fuel price fluctuations)

Road Transfers:
These are only available between Haina and Rakops area, rates on request.

Air Transfers:
Air transfers are booked with a charter company. The rates below are guide line rates and are correct at time of print (January 10). Due to the enormous fluctuation in fuel prices, these prices can be changed without prior notice.

Seat in Plane rates:

Maun – Haina = Seat Rate @ USD 150.00 pp one way min 2pax.
**NB single supplement charge of 100% (i.e. Plus USD 150.00)

Maun – Shakawe = Charter rates available on request

Maun – Seronga = Charter rates available on request

Government Departure Tax inclusive.
USD rates are subject to rate of exchange.
Luggage restriction of 12kg per person in soft bags

NB : Rates are subject to fuel price increases and rate fluctuations. Please contact reservations for the latest rate when making a booking. Air Charter Company will be contacted for the required quote. Seat rates are not available for Maun-Shakawe/Seronga.
